RFID in Indian Libraries
Although consideration of implementing RFID technology is across all major libraries in India, five visionaries institute have already taken the early lead in implementing them across their libraries. They are the following:
- Pune Jayakar University
- IIT, Chennai
- IISc, Bangalore
- Jammu University
- IIM Indore
- IIM Khozikode
As per our estimation, with Orizin cost-effective solution the number will grow to twenty this year and approximately 150-200 installations across the country by 2008.
