RFID Library Solution
If you have decided to implement barcode to improve operational efficiencies, then think again! RFID is revolutionizing libraries across the world.

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is an automatic identification method, relying on storing and remotely retrieving data using devices called RFID tags or transponders. An RFID tag is an object that can be attached to or incorporated into a product, animal, or person for the purpose of identification using radio waves. RFID can identify multiple objects like books, CDs and other items together over wireless. This overcomes the limitation that barcode has like bringing items in line-of-sight to scanner, reading one item at a time which needs to be stationery, displacing items from shelves and so on.
How it can help you to better manage your libraries ?
Stock Verification
Verifying a stock of thousands of books, periodicals, CD’s and DVD’s can be time consuming to the Library administrator. With PDA based RFID hand-held reader, thousands of Items can be identified, updated and matched in few hours!
Security
Our Gate Antenna can track all the books going out of libraries and raise an alarm if a book is un-authorized, giving additional security. Unlike EAS (Emergency Alert System), it can also keep record of incoming and outgoing books from the libraries.
Self check in and check out
Special staff members are not required to execute simple tasks like book issue and return. Orizin’s touch screen based self-check out/renew station Can enable patron to issue, return and renew books, CDs etc themselves without any staff.
Finding a missing item
It becomes challenging to find a particular item among thousands of similar ones. Even barcode does not help. By feeding an access number to our RFID hand-held device you can locate a missing item very fast. It does not require you to remove items from shelf.

Item sorting
Imagine you are sorting a shelf and somebody can help you to quickly identify misplaced items on the shelf. It will take you only few minutes to sort a huge shelf. Sorting could be so easy with our hand-held device at bay.
Barcode cannot identify multiple items together. It cannot issue /return multiple books together. One-at-a time method can eat away hundreds of precious minutes of patrons with frustrating queues! Give a better experience to your members by cutting queues and saving their precious times.
