Orizin Technologies Private Ltd has been spun off from a project incubated at NirmaLabs, a private incubator, Ahmedabad. Its being molded by Industry veteran Mr.Venkat Rajendran.
Venkat Rajendran serves as the chairman of the board. He has 25 years of experince in telecom domain. He started his career as a R&D Engineer at Centre for the development of the Telematics where he spent close to 8 years before co-founding Deccanet Designs Pvt Ltd in 1994. Under his guidance Deccanet emerged as a successful company with focus on telecom software design. In 2004 Deccanet got merged with global conglomerate Flextronics to reach wider market. Mr.Venkat provides valuable guidance and support to Orizin by helping the team to take right business decisions. He is a mentor as well as an angel investor at Orizin.
Prashant has done B.E in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at NIT Trichy and worked with Wipro Technologies, Bangalore. He left Wipro to join Nirmalabs, a private incubator based in Ahmedabad, where he was groomed in the various aspects of business like marketing, finance, technology commercialization and designing hi-end products. At Orizin he is involved in day-to-day business operations and customer management.
Palaniappan serves as a chief technology officer at Orizin. He has done B.E in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at NIT Trichy and worked with Analog Devices Inc, Bangalore. He left Analog Devices in Dec'2005 to start Orizin Technologies Pvt Ltd with Prashant. At Orizin he is responsible for product development and guiding the R&D team to meet customers requirement.
K Thyagrajan (Tyagi) is from a mechanical engineering background, with post-graduation in business and industrial management and specialization in roller bearing technology. He has a professional career spanning close to 25 years. He was with Dalal Mott MacDonald, for close to 20 years eventually heading the Knowledge Management and Learning & Development division at corporate level. Tyagi has worked on a variety of business advisory projects and consulting engagements for several leading business houses in India, MNCs, central and state governments and multi-lateral agencies like The World Bank, ADB, EC, etc. He is also closely associated with several professional bodies and international organizations that include CII (ex-member of the Governing Council, member of the CIT council and two term Chairman of the Tourism council), Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (ex-Sr. Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Helpdesk and Info centre), Indo American Education Society- United States Educational Foundation in India (Board member) and the UNESCO Association in Gujarat (General Secretary). He has been a prolific writer, columnist, poet and dramatist in Hindi, English and Gujarati. Tyagi is one of the board members at Orizin and involved in carving strategic direction for the company.
Bharath Upadhya, An engineer with MBA, Bharath has over 9 years of diverse experience in KPO & Appliances industry. Before joining Orizin, Bharath was responsible for operations & sales for a large Healthcare account within GENPACT Analytics. In his 5 year stint with GE/GENPACT, Bharath has worked in various operational areas like data analysis, modeling, market research, healthcare consulting and re-engineering as well as people management & business development. Prior to that, Bharath was working with appliances division of Godrej & Boyce. He is the Vice-President, Business Development and sales at Orizin Technologies.
